April 29ste a free day in Japan

I was yesterday free and also my bother and his wive came to Japan so I when to there hotel.
They are staying at hotel near the Hamamatsucho JR station, there are some park`s nearby, so a nice place to stay it is also close to Tokyo Tower.

As expected, I was ill for 3 day, Tuesday until Thursday I always get ill for some day when I visit Japan..

I went Friday to work and spent the weekend at home. feel better now but not 100% yet.
Wednesday we are free here and then Alex will return and also my brother and his wive will visit Japan. It the first time for them so I hope they like it here in Japan, they will travel all over Japan for 4 weeks and will stay the first days in Tokyo.
I hope they like it and that they will visit Japan more often.

I now have my springbox mattress (need it for my back pain) and my curtains, I still need some extra curtains but they will come later.

so I hope to order next weekend my electric stuff..

The three day that I was ill I stayed at home and in bed.. was really not well also was sleeping a lot, almost hadden the energy to go to the store to get some food.
I was dizzy, but I survived :)
Hope I will be o.k. for golden week and the weekend so I can explore Tokyo again but now with my brother...

at last my own apartment.

Hi at last I have a new home.

Saturday I got the key and moved in, I hadn't any stuff so in the morning I went out buying a bed for the new place, the problem was that it will take a week to get a matras so I bought a futon.. I went out with my manager, he helped me.

He also help me with the apartment, so I was lucky that we went out shopping, in the morning, I needed again to sign a lot of papers... Also Alex was at the apartment to help me

But after 1 hour we where done and went eating Dombori (a bowl with sushi and rice) in the neighborhood with the three of us. After this I went out shopping again with my manager... Alex needed to go home.
I bought some bath stuff , water filter and a ceiling light for the bedroom.
Also a curtain for the bedroom.

After this shopping my manager went home and I went to my weekly mansion to get my stuff from there, and cleaned it.
I sleep the first time at my new place on a futon I was afraid that it was to hard (back problem) but it went o.k.

The next day I went again to the weekly mansion and double checked it, and checked out. I didn't feel o.k. so I needed to relax.
I went to Ueno park hope that I would feel better there.. I stay there until 11:00 then went to IOcity and bought a bad rope and some towels.

Then I went home at toke a bad, at 13:00 I meet Alex and when to kiba for some shopping and some food we eat soba at lotus plaza.. after this we went to my place to install the light in the bedroom that was easy..

Then we walked to Alex place, on the street we meet Yoko, Liam and a friend of Yoko.
We when to Alex place where we talked a little, Alex had a meeting later that day, so I went out shopping for some other stuff
I was home a 19:00 then installed internet so I could use my laptop. Watched "uitzending gemist" after this I looked at NCIS and 24..
So there was a little feeling of home...

I still need some curtains for the living room, I hope to have them this week...
We need order these by internet because of the size...

The strange thing was that I still didn't feel 100% .. : (
Maybe stress, of these busy day`s..

After some hours watching some stuff I went to bed, because at 7:00 the alarm will go for the next work day.

I have a bussy week because of all the appointments, also next week will be bussy because of the immigration paper work and visits of people..

Busy week

Because the Asian Pacific Director visited our office we where very busy and went out eating after work making long days, Thursday there was a party for me, a welcome hanabi sakura party (ヘンリの歓迎会＆お花見＆BBQ)

We also when to Disneyland on Wednesday we went into almost all the roller coasters.... some thing I didn't like but I toke one for the team !!

Also on Friday I went with some people to the Yasukuni Shrine the famous war shrine.
There was a Sumo dedication, so all the Sumo where there... was fun...

We also had some nice lunches and on friday the last dinner at Tokyodome, in a steak restaurant, with a good salade bar ... it was very nice !!

Have found a nice apartment

Yesterday I found a nice apartment, it is expensive but I liked it, I also visited other apartments and this one was the best.
It has a big "mado" (window) and makes the living room bigger.

I hope I can get this apartment...
I need to have a place with some space because we in the west live more at home, as the Japanese, I will try to go more outside but I think, human nature is hard to change after 40 years.
I need to have an apartment that feels like home, so it is easier for me to adjust here in Japan.
I need to relax when I am at home from my busy work, and I cant do this in a small room with small windows, giving the impression of a jail.

So this apartment will cost me a lot of my income but I hope that it pays back, and will give me a feeling of coming home after work.

If everything goes well I can move in around the 18 of April, yes it need to be fast because of all the other stuff I need to do, so this month will be very expensive, and I need to arrange many things.

New week new things todo

This week one of the boss visited use here in Japan So we will be very busy this week, I also try to get an apartment this week, so I can apply for the alien registration card and a bank account.

I will start to day at visiting apartments, I hope to find a nice one fast.
So I can continue the other immigrations stuff that is needed here.

This week is planned with diners and other activities. So I will be busy.
The previous weekend was nice Sunday we went to Roppongi and try to go to the movie dragon ball, but no success it didn't run there. We also went to a familiar place and had some nice ramen. the weather is nice but I hope the it gets a little warmer, so I don't need a jacket.

I went out today with Alex and I drunk to much sake...
I just logged in because I need to recharge this laptop..
I had a nice day we went to lala port and went to a movie "watchmen" after it we went to a sushi place and I drunk to much sake... sorry .. I am still　writing this blog drunk..

lalaport is a nice place.. many shops and good food, but we went back to the fish market to have some sushi, it was very good...
but I had to much sake..
After this we went to a Starbucks but is was close so we went back to nihonbashi, there the Starbucks was still open until 21:00 so we order some coffee..

now I am at my weekly mansion.. it is 21:30 witting this messages, will include photos tomorrow.

At last it is weekend, my first after a week of work

Here I am siting in a Starbucks at nihonbashi.
I hope to sit here every weekend and write some thing to the blog..

It is now almost 13:00 in Tokyo and the weather is nice..
I found out that this Starbucks is a bunker.. on the lower floors I can connect to the internet with my EM dongle.. So I need to sit upstairs, also my phone will work better here..


Todo;

I will go out exploring with Alex and Yoko, may look at some housing or talk about the possibilities, here in nihonbaschi. I need some housing because of my alien registration card, to get one I need a address, and I don't want to use the weekly mansion.
Also need to buy some cables for my Dutch laptop and for some of my USB drives, so I don't need so any converter plugs..
Maybe I will look at a　日本語　school here, and I need to find a fitness school so I stay in condition because of all the nice food they have here..

So I hope I will have a nice day today the weather looks good and the sakura is almost at its highest point here in Tokyo..


Living in Japan;

This place I live for the moment nihonbashi is more lively that hatchibori the place where I stayed before.. I going to find place here in the neighborhood because Alex live here and then we can do some thing to together after work, else we must travel to much.
My work is only 30 minutes away from here, I take the hiba line and the sobu line everyday to work, the nice thing is that I change train/metro at Akihabara, this is the place to be for nerd, so before or after work I can hangout there : )

At the office I really like it the first halve week, nice people and my direct collega`s are great, I hope that they keep helping me　ども　ありがと　ごしゃます hope I wrote this correctly : ).
It is a great help to have a Japanese Laptop because writing Japanese is realty easy

I now look window and it is to nice outside to stay here any longer..
